The course is designed for those who wish to enhance their own skill set, and to add value to their existing IMAS EOD qualifications through a transition into the Search area of expertise. The prerequisite to attend this course is to have an IMAS EOD Level 3 Certificate or equivalent (on review by our board of SMEs). The Advanced Search Adviser course is designed to empower successful applicants, with the ability to plan and execute Advanced Search tasks (and training tasks), within a challenging and ever-changing industry.
On successful completion of the course, you will have acquired the requisite knowledge, skills & attitude necessary to perform the duties & tasks of an Advanced Search Adviser. You will be able to successfully plan and execute both operational and training Search tasks, as part of mine actions operations in accordance with International Mine Action Standards (IMAS).
